The company was founded in 1982 and offers you more than 35 years of experience and know-how. The REM Ressorts’s story began when Didier CHIMIER, during the oil era, was unable to find spring suppliers<\/strong> that met his expectations. He then discussed it with his brother Dominique CHIMIER who took this reflection into account and found the idea interesting. In addition, he wanted to experience and bet on opening his company. The project then matured in his head, however, given his commercial training and professional experience, he could not start this activity without technical support. He asked his friend Roger DREVILLON, who had a background in the industry, to start the project with him. Together, they founded REM Ressorts on April 1, 1982. Since then, the two founders have retired and Jean-Brice GEVIN, the current president, took over the company in 2016. Located in Angers (49 – Maine et Loire) since the beginning, the company concentrates its production site and offices. We produce industrial springs<\/strong> both individually, as well as in small, medium and large series. Being tailor-made products, each part has its own specific specifications. Its know-how and values lead the company to have a French manufacturing. At the same time, the materials used are also exclusively of French origin. Quality and 100% made in France are at the heart of our concerns.<\/p>\n

We work metal wire mainly in round sections, with a diameter ranging from 0.1 mm to 15 mm. We treat it cold to give it its shape, defined in advance with the customer. Having a wide range of manufacturing which includes, among others, compression, tension, torsion, double-twisting, conical, biconical, flat, formed wire… Each part is manufactured according to the customer’s drawings. As a custom manufacturer, the choice extends even to the selection of the material: steel, stainless steel, galvanized steel, mild steel, inconel, etc.<\/p>\n
